What Is the Hobo Game?

Hobo is a series of browser brawlers that started in the Flash era. You play a tired, irritable drifter who fights whoever interrupts his rest. There’s no complicated setup. You walk, punch, kick, and grab whatever is lying around.

The humor is deliberately rude and over the top. The fights are quick, and the whole thing runs on exaggerated slapstick violence.

How to Win Fights

Treat the Street as Your Arsenal

Items on the ground, like trash cans and sticks, are part of the design. You can also take weapons from enemies. Grab something before a crowd closes in.

Keep Moving

Running lets you reposition instead of trading hits. Use it to pull a group apart so you fight one opponent at a time.

Don’t Button-Mash

Mixing punches and kicks is more effective than holding one button. Space your attacks, and pick up objects between exchanges rather than mid-scrum.

Numbering differs between sites, so check the title on the page you’re playing. These entries are commonly listed:
